London 2012

Conference Overview

Following on from the huge success of our 2011 Symposium, the 2012 London conference was again held at RIBA’s headquarters. Attracting over 160 senior executives the agenda recognised that the Symposium was now seen as a must attend annual event for not only those who needed to understand more about sustainability but also those who wished to participate in and push the debate forward through thought leadership and dialogue with their peers.

The programme included presentations on carbon reporting, operational costs savings from sustainable strategies, responsible property investment and investment opportunities in a low carbon economy. Delegates were also treated to a walk-through of the UKs most sustainable office building, the Co-operative headquarters in Manchester. Delegate feedback was excellent establishing this annual event as an essential pointer to the future of sustainability in commercial property occupation, development and investment.
